This site, 中から見た観察記録 ("the Site"), is an independent project published under the project identity 名前はまだない.

The Site does not publish personal information about its individual operator. All correspondence and data-subject requests are received through the contact channel listed in §10 below.

3. What Data We Process

The Site is designed to minimize personal data collection. The following categories may be processed:

Access logs (technical, automatic): IP address, user agent, referrer, page URL, timestamp. Collected by our self-hosted analytics tool (see §4).
Theme preference: Stored locally in your browser via localStorage (dark / light mode). Not transmitted to the server.
Advertising data (third-party): If advertising is displayed, our advertising partner Google may process additional data (see §5).
Contact correspondence: Email content you choose to send us via the contact address.

We do not operate user registration, comments, forms, or newsletter subscriptions.

4. Analytics (Umami, Self-Hosted)

We use Umami, an open-source, self-hosted analytics tool, to understand aggregate visitor patterns. Umami is designed to be cookie-less and privacy-friendly. The data processed by Umami is anonymized at collection and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — operating and improving the Site. No consent is required because no cookies or unique identifiers are stored on your device for this purpose.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Site may display advertising delivered by Google AdSense, operated by Google LLC and its affiliates. Where advertising is shown, the following applies:

Google and its partners may use cookies (including DoubleClick / doubleclick.net cookies and identifiers such as the NID cookie) to serve ads.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent banner provided by Google Funding Choices will appear before personalized advertising data is processed. You may accept, reject, or partially configure your choices at any time.
Google may use previously collected information about your visits to this and other websites to serve personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings. 6. Cookies and Local Storage

7. Data Retention

Umami analytics: Retained for a maximum of 13 months, then deleted or aggregated.
Server access logs: Retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and abuse-detection purposes.
Contact correspondence: Retained for as long as necessary to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period (typically up to 12 months).
Advertising cookies: Lifetimes are controlled by Google. See Google's policy linked above.

9. International Transfers

The Site is hosted on a server located in Japan. Google AdSense services and Google Funding Choices are operated by Google LLC (United States) and its global affiliates. Transfers to Google rely on Google's standard contractual clauses and other safeguards as described in Google's privacy documentation.

11. Automated Decision-Making

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing the policy periodically.
